Fabricated from 20CrMo alloy steel, the gear features high strength, good hardenability and outstanding basic wear resistance. The full production process includes sawing, turning, rough hobbing, hardening heat treatment, chamfering, hanging shot blasting, boring, facing & outer diameter turning, surface capping, wire EDM, deburring, precision gear grinding and marking.
Heat treatment greatly increases tooth surface hardness, and subsequent precision grinding ensures high tooth profile accuracy. The gear delivers smooth operation and long wear-resistant service life. It is installed inside TKH320 series reducers to work with worms for speed reduction transmission.
